2019 SECTIONALS
More than 150 boys and girls teams will begin their quest for a chance to advance to the state tournament, starting with the sectional play-in games on May 6 & 7.

The girls' quarterfinal action starts on May 8, followed by the boys' quarterfinal games on May 9. The sectional semifinals are played on May 10, with the sectional final games all taking place on Saturday, May 11.

Links to every sectional site are provided below. These will be updated continuously with schedules, game times, and scores/recaps throughout the week of sectionals. At the end of the week, we will have Sectional Ballers and the All-Sectional Teams (as soon as they are submitted to us from each sectional site).

Quarterfinals

(5) Morton 9 (4) R-B 7

(2) Oak Park 14 (7) Taft 3

Bennett Gloor scored 5 goals while Addie Kosterman and Nell Behr each scored 4 goals in the Huskies' 14-3 win over Taft. Sydney Mosher also stopped 8 shots for the winners.

(3) York 10 (6) Northside 8

Emma Stec tallied 4 goals and both Kathryn LaForio and Moleigh Waldherr each scored 3 times as the Dukes beat Northside 10-8. Mikaela Hulliberger scored 3 goals in the loss for the Mustangs.

Friday, May 9

Semifinals

(1) Fenwick 17 (5) Morton 11

Paulina Correa totaled 7 goals in the Friars' 17-11 triumph over Morton.

(3) York 6 (2) Oak Park 5 (3 OT)

Moleigh Waldherr scored 3 goals, including the game-winner in triple overtime, as the Dukes outlasted OPRF 6-5 to advance to the sectional finals. Nell Behr scored 3 clutch goals in the loss for the Huskies.

Finals

(1) Fenwick 15 (3) York 4

Paulina Correa lead the Friars back to the state tournament with six goals in a 15-4 win over York. Kassy Rodriguez scored 3 times, Demi Ovalle scored twice Sam Rodriguez made 9 saves for the victors.
