2018 SECTIONALS
More than 150 boys and girls teams will begin their quest for a chance to advance to the state tournament, starting with the sectional play-in games on May 7 & 8.

The boys' quarterfinal action starts on May 9, followed by the girls' quarterfinal games on May 10. The sectional semifinals are played on May 11, with the sectional final games all taking place on Saturday, May 12.

Links to every sectional site are provided below. These will be updated continuously with schedules, game times, and scores/recaps throughout the week of sectionals. At the end of the week, we will have Sectional Ballers and the All-Sectional Teams (as soon as they are submitted to us from each sectional site).

Maddie Schultz registered 9 scores, Jill Schultz scored 3 times and the tandem of MaryKate McKendry and Maura O'Grady made 10 saves in the Mighty Macs' 21-7 win over Kelly. Chloe Ryan, Katie Alberts and Hannah Enguist each added 2 scores for the winners.

(2) Lyons 15 (3) Argo 4

Kaysie Stuba totaled 5 goals, Greta Markey netted 3 scores and Ali Bradbury and Grace Wantuck teamed up to make 16 saves in the Lions' 15-4 win over Argo.  Alison Cabrera and Hanna Good both added 2 goals in the winning effort.

Saturday, May 12

Finals

(1) Mother McAuley 13 (2) Lyons 6

Jill Schultz registered 4 scores, Hannah Engquist netted 3 scores and MaryKate McKendry stopped 14 shots as the Mighty Macs earned a return trip to state after beating Lyons 13-6. Hanna Good scored 4 goals, Olivia Ohm and Rhyan Komstoeft each scored once and Grace Wantuck made 11 saves in the loss for the Lions.
