The Caravan were officially the first team to advance to the next round
of the playoffs after a 5-0 forfeit win over Ogden.
(8) Latin 24 (9) Juarez 12
Sam Orlin poured in 9 goals and Ben Golub, Daniel Schwartz, Eli
Bucksbaum and Frankie Joslin all put in 3 goals in the Romans' 24-12 win
over Juarez. Ram Fedeli netted 2 scores and Robert Kelley scored once in
the winning effort.
Wednesday, May 11
Quarterfinals
(1) St Ignatius 11 (8) Latin 4
Andreas Christy, Gus Enger and Shane Hughes each scored 2 goals and Luke
Rothschild and Sam Enger combined to make 10 saves as the Wolfpack beat
Latin 11-4. Jackson Tanner tallied 3 scores and Sam Orlin scored once in
the loss for the Romans.
(4) Von Steuben 14 (5) Lane 13 (OT)
Chris Iza recorded the game-winner in overtime as the Panthers outlasted
Lane 14-13 on Wednesday. Ethan Hamp scored 7 goals and Haydon Peterson
scored 3 times in the win. Mark Gullickson scored 4 goals and Max
Boettcher put in 3 goals in the loss.
(2) Whitney Young 14 (7) Mt Carmel 6
Duncan McDonald registered 6 goals, Benjamin Liu notched 3 scores and
Josh Escasa scored 2 times in the Dolphins' 14-6 win over Mt Carmel.
Jacob Williams scored 5 times in the loss for the Caravan.
(3) DLS 21 (6) Jones-Payton 10
Shane Nagel recorded 7 goals while Lucas Gawron and Rodrigo Garcia each
scored 5 times to help the Meteors knock off Jones-Payton 21-10. Will
Macellaio led the Eagles' offense with 7 scores in the loss.

Semifinals
(1) St Ignatius 13 (4) Von Steuben 9
Shane Hughes netted 5 goals, Andreas Christy scored 3 times and Luke
Rothschield and Sam Enger made 10 saves in the Wolfpack's 13-9 win over
Von Steuben. Chris Iza tallied 5 scores and Ethan Hamp scored 3 times in
the losing effort.
(2) Whitney Young 12 (3) DLS 10
Dan Rusca and Duncan McDonald each tallied 4 scores to lead the Dolphins
past DLS 12-10. Shane Nagle and Rodrigo Gonzalez scored 3 goals apiece
in the loss for the Meteors.
