Manny Martinez recorded 6 goals and Ivan Ariza netted 5 scores as Curie
rolled past Argo 19-1.
(4) Brother Rice 24 (5) Shepard 6
Dan Birmingham and James Ryan both scored 6 goals as the Crusaders cruised
to a 24-6 victory over Shepard. Zack Sierzega tallied 2 scores in the loss
for the Astros.
(2) Stagg 21 (7) Mt Carmel 7
Connor Kaufmann and Zack Amendola each recorded 4 goals to lead the
Chargers to a 21-7 win over Mt Carmel. Lane Holin also stopped 11 shots
in the win for Stagg. Danny Luchsinger netted 4 scores in the loss for
the Caravan.
(3) St Rita 20 (6) Morgan Park 6
Joe Qualter scored 4 times as part of a group effort on the offensive end as
St Rita topped Morgan Park 20-6. Christian Cooper scored 4 goals in the
losing effort.

Semifinals
(4) Brother Rice 10 (1) Curie 9
Matt Bachler scored 4 goals as Brother Rice used a 3-0 run in the second
quarter to pull even with Curie and outscored the Condors 2-1 in the final
period to earn a 10-9 upset win on Friday. Jeronimo Chavez and Manny
Martinez each tallied 3 scores in the loss for Curie.
(2) Stagg 12 (3) St Rita 5
Zack Amendola totaled 4 goals and Lane Holin blocked 13 shots to help lift
Stagg over St Rita 12-5. Chuck Henrichs led the Mustangs with 2 goals in the
losing effort.
