Scott Nemecek (Lyons Township)

Helped Lyons continue their undefeated season, as the Lions finished with a 3-0 record at the Mundelein Tournament. Nemecek was Lyons' leading scorer, finishing the tournament with 12 total goals. He scored three in a 9-7 title game win over Mundelein, scored 6 times in a 12-5 victory over Palatine, and chipped in three goals in a 16-6 win over Fremd. Lyons improved to 17-0 on the season and are currently ranked third in the state.
GIRLS
Sarah Ostling (St Viator)

Sarah was named the Most Valuable Player of the Lockport Tournament, as she led St Viator to a 4-0 record at the invitational. She led her team in scoring and helped the Lions knock off Lincoln-Way Central 7-1 in the championship game of the tournament. St Viator improved their overall record to 13-2 and climbed into the Top 10 for the first time this season.
