Alex Negronida (Evanston)

Alex led Evanston to a 3-1 record and was the leading scorer of the entire Fenwick Tournament over the weekend. He totaled 20 goals over a four-game stretch, which included wins over #8 Lincoln-Way East, #10 Sandburg, and #23 Homewood-Flossmoor. He started the tournament off with a four goal performance in a 12-9 loss to St Patrick on Friday night. He helped his team go 3-0 on Saturday, scoring four times in a 14-12 victory over Lincoln-Way East, tallying seven on his team's ten goals in a 10-9 win over Sandburg, and had five more scores in an 8-4 win against Homewood-Flossmoor.

Alex led his team to three other victories during the week, which included a 14-8 win over #14 Loyola. He scored 5 goals against the Ramblers, plus he added 7 more goals in wins over Glenbrook North (21-6) and Glenbrook South (11-3) during the week.
GIRLS
Nicole Srutowski (Sandburg)

Nicole has led the #6 Eagles to a 7-1 start, which includes a 3-0 record at the New Trier Tournament. She is Sandburg's leading scorer and has helped her team defeat #9 Evanston, #11 New Trier, #13 Oak Park, and #25 Andrew. She scored 4 goals and added 2 assists in an 11-2 win over Andrew on Tuesday, and she added 4 more goals in a 12-7 win over Oak Park the next night.
