Thursday, May 8

Quarterfinals

(1) Naperville Central 15 (8) STC East 1

Kara Wilson totaled 6 goals to lead the Redhawks to a 15-1 win over St Charles East in the first game at the Neuqua Valley Sectional. Jess Howard scored the lone goal for the Saints in the loss.

(4) Hinsdale Central 9 (5) Naperville North 6

Caitlin Connor recorded 6 goals and Brie O'Doherty added 2 goals as Hinsdale Central held off Naperville North 9-6 at the Neuqua Sectional. Lexi Gross totaled 19 saves in the win for the Red Devils, who advance to take on Naperville Central in the semifinals on Friday night. Erin Gibson scored 3 times in the loss for the Huskies.

(2) Neuqua Valley 16 (7) STC North 3

Kathleen Patterson tallied 6 goals and Jeanette Nolte added 3 scores as Neuqua Valley defeated St Charles North 16-3.

(3) Waubonsie Valley 16 (6) Hinsdale South 5

Tyler Crittenden scored 4 goals and Bailey Gucinski scored 3 times to help lift Waubonsie Valley to a 16-5 victory over Hinsdale South. The Warriors broke the game open in the second half with an 11-1 run after leading by one goal at the break.

Friday, May 9

Semifinals

(2) Neuqua Valley 11 (3) Waubonsie Valley 7

Kathleen Patterson scored 7 goals and Nancy Leech added 2 scores to lead Neuqua Valley to an 11-7 victory over Waubonsie Valley. Allison Szott scored 4 times in the loss for the Warriors.

(1) Naperville Central 16 (4) Hinsdale Central 5

Kara Wilson scored 6 goals to lead Naperville Central to a 16-5 victory over Hinsdale Central on Friday night. Haley Nelson, Sam Shamburek, Claire Fleming, and Emily Wooten each chipped in with 2 goals apiece in the victory for the Redhawks. Caitlin Connor led the Red Devils with 3 goals in the losing effort.

Saturday, May 10

Finals

(1) Naperville Central 8 (2) Neuqua Valley 5

Claire Fleming scored 3 goals, Kara Wilson added 2 scores and Sam Virella made 15 saves as Naperville Central defeated Neuqua Valley 8-5 to advance to the state tournament. Jenn Rinehart and Kathleen Patterson both scored 2 goals in the loss for the Wildcats.
