The Neuqua Valley Sectional boasts the best potential semifinal matchups, and anyone could emerge as a state qualifier on Saturday. Naperville Central's only two losses have come to Sandburg and Brother Rice this year, and they have the mental advantage of beating every team at this sectional. North has been just as hot, beating Neuqua Valley, their potential semifinal opponent, twice this year. Waubonsie Valley did tie Naperville Central much earlier this year, but the Redhawks won their regular season matchup and have emerged as the favorite at this sectional. Hinsdale Central, behind Scott Bobo, Matt Johnson, and Kevin Collins, could make things interesting for Waubonsie Valley in the first round.
