Illpolo.com Site Update

Score Reporting

Out of 176 games from Week 1, we are only missing 5 scores/results. If you scroll through the Week 1 results and see a game that has not been reported and know the score, please send it to us. This will ensure that all of the team standings are accurate and helps when compiling the rankings. A good rule of thumb is: if you do not see it on the site, we probably do not have it.

Media Poll/Coaches Poll

The Media Poll is completed by Illpolo.com; we rank all of the current teams playing in Illinois on both the boys and girls sides from 1-63. This poll is completed on Sunday night and can be viewed on Monday morning. Meanwhile, the Coaches Poll is chosen by participating coaches and lists the Top 20 teams, as well as the next five teams who recieve the most votes. Coaches send their votes in on Sunday night and Monday morning, and the new poll is posted on Monday evening around 7:00pm.

Flash Intro

We have shortened the Flash intro so that it only takes a few seconds to get to the main page. As always, you can go directly to the main page by going to http://www.illpolo.com/index2.htm, especially if you have a slow connection or do not have Macromedia Flash Player. We may provide an optional Flash intro on the main page with more information which included a handful of the top games for each night and took about 15 seconds to view (similar to the intros we did last week).

Tournament Schedules

Coaches who are hosting or attending weekend tournaments should send schedules to us as soon as possible for posting on the site. This includes both Varsity and JV tournaments, as we get a handful of e-mails during the week asking for these schedules. Again, a good rule of thumb is: if you do not see it on the site, we probably do not have it.
