Lincoln-Way Sectional Preview - GIRLS
No real favorite has emerged at the LWC Sectional, making this bracket one of the most intriguing heading towards the final weeks of the season. #1 seed Lincoln-Way Central and #2 seed Lincoln-Way East have gone back and forth all season, with the Knights winning their latest encounter 13-7. And with #3 seed Andrew waiting in the wings, up-and-coming #4 seed and defending sectional champion Homewood-Flossmoor trying to get back to state, and upset-minded #5 seed Marian Catholic lingering, anything is possible at the LWC Sectional and every team playing has a chance for a state berth. Central gets a bye after their latest win over East, so they have the benefit of awaiting the winner between H-F and Marian. On the other side of the bracket, Andrew battles #6 seed Bradley, while East plays host to #7 seed Lockport.
