WHAT IS THE ILLPOLO SUMMER FEST?

Illpolo.com is taking part in an a water polo triple-header, consisting of various players and teams from Illinois. Complete details are included in the attached flyer.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?

To provide players with a late-summer chance to participate in a unique water polo event. Meanwhile, the success of the event will help ensure that the Illpolo.com web site continues into 2015 and beyond.

The event is free to participants!

HOW WILL YOU DECIDE WHO GETS AN INVITATION?

We are seeking a set amount of players for each team. If the number of requests exceed these set amounts, we will randomly select participants AND also try to make adjustments so that everyone can still participate. We will gather up the requests and send out invites by the end of the week (July 13).

IS THERE A SPECIFIC TYPE OF PLAYER YOU ARE SEEKING (BOYS)?

Limited spots remain for the boys game between the Illpolo All-Stars and the Naperville Tropics. Rosters were tentatively set in June for this particular game, but spots will likely become available as some players will be unable to participate. Players who were on the initial roster need to let us know ASAP whether or not they still plan to attend.

IS THERE A SPECIFIC TYPE OF PLAYER YOU ARE SEEKING (GIRLS)?

Rosters have not been set for the girls' games, so we are seeking a variety of players for the Illpolo Future Stars, Illpolo All-Stars and Illpolo Alumni teams. Typically, future stars would be underclassmen, All-Stars would be upperclassmen and recent graduates, and alumni would be of college age.

HOW ELSE CAN I HELP?

Volunteer coaches (and possibly event workers) may prove helpful, while donations (or event sponsorship) would be greatly appreciated, but not expected.

WILL YOU NEED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE?

You must be registered with American Water Polo and/or sign a waiver on site.
