Mary Claire Seeberg poured in 11 goals and Molly Orbon notched 3 scores as
the Spartans advanced to Thursday's quarterfinal round with an 18-6 victory
over Resurrection.
Glenbrook South
13 Maine West 5
The Titans earned a 13-5 win over fellow CSL-foe Maine West on Tuesday,
setting up a matchup with top seed New Trier on Thursday afternoon.

New Trier 12 Glenbrook South

Kelsey Willian recorded 4 goals and Alexana Astor, Isabelle Baneaux, and
Lindey Siegel each registered 2 scores in the Trevians' 12-6 win over GBS.
Hannah Caywood blocked 12 shots in the win for NT. Anne Edwards led the Lady
Titans with 4 scores in the losing effort.
Evanston 6 Prospect 5
Yasi Nassiri notched 2 scores to help lift Evanston past Prospect 6-5 on
Thursday. Jessica Cavaiani put in 4 scores for the Knights in the narrow
loss.
Loyola 13 Glenbrook North 9
Evan Swenson totaled 6 goals and Marta Considine notched 5 scores to lead
the Ramblers to a 13-9 win over GBN. Katie Lynch scored 2 times and Meredith
O'Brien totaled 5 saves and 5 steals in the victory. Mary Claire Seeberg
registered 4 scores in the loss for the Spartans.
Maine South 9 Maine East 5
Tyler Gooding tallied 3 scores to help lead Maine South to a 9-5 upset win
over Maine East. Maria Protic led the Blue Demons with 3 scores in the loss.
Friday, May 11
Semifinals
GLENBROOK SOUTH SECTIONAL
New Trier 16 Evanston 5
Erika Nothnagel and Isabelle Baneaux both recorded 4 scores and Jocelyn
Kupets, Lindsay Siegel, and Samantha Padavic each tallied 2 goals in the
Trevians' 16-5 win over Evanston. Robyn Bastian netted 3 goals in the loss
for the Wildkits.
Loyola 14 Maine South 13
Evan Swenson totaled 6 goals and Marta Considine added 5 goals as Loyola
held off a strong challenge from Maine South to earn a 14-13 victory on
Friday night. Allison Sajnaj also netted 2 scores and goalie Meredith
O'Brien stopped 7 shots in the Ramblers' win. Iza Matczuk recorded 5 goals, Tyler Gooding put in 4 scores, and
Anne Pavlis totaled
2 goals in the Hawks' loss.
Saturday, May 12
Finals
(1) New Trier 15 (2) Loyola 9
Isabelle Baneaux tallied 6 goals and Erika Nothnagel chipped in with 3
scores as New Trier jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the opener quarter and never
looked back in beating Loyola 15-9. Hannah Caywood totaled 17 saves in the
Trevians victory. Marta Considine scored 4 times and Katie Lynch netted 3
goals in the loss for the Ramblers.
