Quarter 1 Hannah Eikelbarry scores from two meters to put NC up 1-0 early. Kelsey Christensen counters with a goal to make it 1-1. Eikelberry hits post, Ashley Anderson with a good boxout, goalie Stephanie Lassen leads Meredith Nordbrock with a breakaway pass to draw an ejection, and Nordbrock proceeds to slam home the powerplay shot from the left wing to make it 2-1 HF with 1:34 left in the opening quarter. Eikelberry hits post again, and HF's Lauren Peterson draws a foul to deny any chance for a rebound goal. Homewood-Flossmoor 2 NAPERVILLE CENTRAL 1
Quarter 2 Eikelberry ties it with two meter goal to make it 2-2 with 5:34 left in the half. Peterson responds for HF with a two meter goal of her own make it 3-2. Eikelberry adds her third from two meters, but Peterson once again has the answer with her second goal from hole set to make it 4-3 HF. Thatcher makes a steal and leas Nordbrock who is denied by NC's Brittany Walk. Lassen makes save on seven meter shot, leading to Amanda Owen finding Nordbrock open on the left wing for a goal to make it 5-3. Christensen finds Peterson open at two meters for another goal to give HF a 6-3 lead. Thatcher with a steal and assist to Christensen puts HF up 7-3 with 0:12 left in the half. Quarter 3 Eikelberry starts the third period with a two meter goal to make it 7-4. Amanda Owen scores for HF midway through the period to make it 8-4. Peterson takes a crosspass from Nordbrock on the right post to slam home a left-handed shot and make the score 9-4 in favor of HF. Nordbrock scores from the left flat on a pass from Peterson to increase the advantage to 10-4. Peterson scores on a breakaway on a pass from Nordbrock to make it 11-4. Kelly McNichols adds a goal from outside seven meters on a two meter pass after Lassen made a nice save. Homewood-Flossmoor 11 NAPERVILLE CENTRAL 5
Fourth Quarter Lassen made two good saves in the fourth quarter to hold Central scoreless. Thatcher powerplay shot denied. Thatcher steal, Peterson shot saved. Peterson added her sixth goal of the game to clinch the 12-5 victory for HF. Homewood-Flossmoor 12 NAPERVILLE CENTRAL 5
