What Would You Choose For Your Last
Meal?

Let's
say you were charged with a crime so serious that you were handed the
death penalty. To expedite the process, let's say it was all going to
happen in the next three months and you would be reaching the end of
the road this December. The biggest question I believe you would face
would be: What would you choose for your last meal?
Let's assume that we can work around logistical issues. Things like
"how long will it take for the food to get to you in prison?" or "will
the food still be warm or good?" can be thrown out the window. Let's
just assume that they could actually take you where you wanted to go
for your last meal. And let's say that you are limited to something
within your general area. You can't travel to a different state for
your meal; it'll have to be within a secured van trip of the prison
you are in.
My choice was pretty simple. I considered making a top five list, but
felt it would be a waste of time since I already know where I would
go. My last meal would be:
Portillo's - My order would be pretty simple. Double
cheeseburger, no pickle and no onion, large cheese fries, and a large
coke with no ice. Since it's my last meal and all, I might consider
adding one other item just because I'm really not watching my weight
at this point. I'll decide on the way there.
Now, make your choice. What would you
choose for your last meal?
