matchup featuring two CPS teams playing for the right to take on top-seeded
Latin on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.

and Jaime Juarez netted 2 goals in the Wolfpack's 13-8 quarterfinal round
win over Von Steuben.

Brayden Amendola totaled 6 goals and Billy Barth and Jaime Juarez each
scored 4 times as St Ignatius held off DeLaSalle 19-14. Tym Zymon also made
10 saves in the winning effort.

Jacob Himmel scored 6 goals and Latin used a 4-1 run to start the second
half to pull away from Ignatius and qualify for state with a 14-10 victory.
The Romans' run helped them increase an 8-7 halftime lead to a more
comfortable 12-8 advantage, but the Wolfpack's Brayden Amendola scored 2
straight goals at the start of the final period to narrow the gap to 12-10.
Latin responded with 2 quick goals of their own, then held the Wolfpack
scoreless for the final five minutes to earn the win. Amendola recorded 5
goals, Tym Zymon made 9 saves, and Angus Tam, Billy Barth, Jaime Juarez and
Jesus Juarez each scored once in the losing effort for SICP.
