Quarterfinals
(1) Naperville Central 19 (8) Hinsdale South 7
Cam Dougherty, Christian Fleming, Michael Stern and Nolan Vaughn all
scored 3 goals as the Redhawks topped Hinsdale South 19-8. James Kiwiet
scored 3 goals in the loss for the Hornets.
(5) Lockport 12 (4) Neuqua Valley 9
Tyler Thompson scored 4 goals, Matt Zalesko scored 3 times and Giovanni
Onesto and Jake Sweis both scored 2 goals in the Porters' 12-9 win over
Neuqua Valley. Adam McGovern and Kyle Geekie both scored 2 times in the
losing effort.
(2) Naperville North 19 (7) Hinsdale Central 8
Cole Jacobs notched 5 scores and Jon-Jon Pettinger scored 3 times as the
Huskies beat Central 19-8. Scott Spinazola scored 4 goals in the loss for
the the Red Devils.
(3) Metea Valley 9 (6) STC North 6
Alex Smith registered 3 scores and both Andrew Eber and Tyler Flanders
scored 2 times as the Mustangs defeated STC North 9-6. Sam Lilly notched 3
scores and Siba Filipovic scored 2 goals in the losing effort.
Friday, May 12
Semifinals
(1) Naperville Central 18 (5) Lockport 11
Bender Russo tallied 5 scores, Brad Sanford scored 4 times and Matt
Reagan put in 3 scores as Central got past Lockport 18-11. Matt Zalesko
and Tyler Thompson both scored 3 goals and Jake Sweis netted 2 scores in
the losing effort.
(2) Naperville North 17 (3) Metea Valley 7
Chase McClure and Jon-Jon Pettinger both scored 4 goals while Chris
Popiolek and Nick Ziller tallied 3 scores as the Huskies defeated Metea
Valley 17-7. Tyler Flanders scored 2 goals in the loss for MVHS.
