round win over Evanston, as the Wolves finished in second place at the CSL
Tournament.
Andrew Brozovic/Jason Parkinson/Tom Trojniar (LWE)
The Griffins' trio combined to score 13 goals in a 19-11 win over LWC
while all three players scored 3 times in an 11-4 nonconference win over
Neuqua Valley during Week 9.
Andrew Shashin/Collin Kapecki (Stevenson)
Shashin scored 13 goals and Kapecki netted 8 scores as the Patriots beat
LWC, Naperville Central and Neuqua Valley to win their own tournament on
Saturday.
Colin O'Leary/John Fischer/Kyle Mitchell (Barrington)
The Broncos' trio totaled 11 of the squad's 16 goals as the Broncos beat
BG 16-8 to win the MSL Championship. The duo also helped Barrington win
the Metea Valley Tourney on Saturday.
Jack Casey (Hersey)
Casey tallied 8 scores as the Huskies defeated Conant in an MSL Crossover
on Monday and topped Lake Forest 11-7 later in the week.
Luke Klein-Collins (Naperville Central)
Klein-Collins led the Central offense with 9 scores to help the squad
finish in second place at the Stevenson Tournament.
Oscar Hernandez (Curie)
Hernadez scored 4 goals in Curie's 16-3 win over Juarez and led the
Condors with 3 scores in an 11-7 CPS title game win over Whitney Young.
GIRLS
Almina Sabinovic/Brianna Breason (Lane)
Breason registered two key goals in the second half while Sabinovic
supplied the game-winner as the Indians defeated Jones-Payton 5-4 to win
the CPS Tournament title.
Aly Wooley/Cam Rosas (Conant)
Wooley scored the game-winning goal and Rosas made 11 saves in the
Cougars' 5-4 win over Prospect in the MSL Championship game. Wooley also
led the defense with 6 steals and Rosas stopped 10 shots and a penalty
attempt in a midweek win over Mundelein.
Anna Mossakowski/Fiona Gaffney (Stevenson)
Gaffney scored 6 goals, drew 4 penalty shots and made 10 steals while
Mossakowski made 28 saves and 6 steals to help the Patriots secure a
win over Naperville North and a second-place finish at their own
tournament.
Emma Crnich/Tara Maher/Vaia Makris (Sandburg)
Tara Maher recorded 9 goals, Vaia Makris scored 7 times and Emma Crnich
made 16 stops as the Eagles earned a pair of SWSC wins over Bradley and
LWW.
Kaysie Stuba (Lyons)
Stuba scored 6 goals in a 10-5 win over St Ignatius and also scored 8
times to help the Lions win the WSC Tournament on Saturday.
Rylee Brower (Naperville Central)
Brower totaled 12 goals to help the Redhawksl claim the Stevenson Tournament
and also led the offense with 5 scores in a 16-7 win over Sandburg
on Thursday.
