Alex Marlott (York)
Marlott totaled 12 goals to help the Dukes beat GBS and STC North and earn
a draw against the hosts at the Conant Tournament. Marlott also scored 5
times in a pair of games against Morton and Naperville North during Week
1.
Albijon Purelku/Tony Dynek (Niles West)
Purelko scored 10 goals while Dynek stopped 30 shots and earned a shutout
as the Wolves finished in second place at the Stevenson Tournament.
Cal Jaques/Leo Redican (Jones/Payton)
Jaques registered 10 goals and Redican made 20 saves as the Eagles won
their own event over the weekend. Jaques also scored 10 times in wins over
Lane and Lincoln Park while Redican stopped 23 shots in both victories.
Cole Jacobs (Naperville North)
Jacobs tallied 16 goals to help the Huskies finish their own event with a
3-1 mark. He also scored 6 times in an early week victory over York.
Dan Maleski (Stevenson)
Maleski registered 13 goals to help the Patriots win their own event after
wins against Fremd, Wheeling and Niles West.
Danilo Scekic/Mason McQuet/Sam Yavitt (New Trier)
Scekic recorded 14 goals, McQuet scored 10 times and Yavitt chipped in
with 9 scores as the Trevians won the Palatine Tournament with a 4-0
record.
Ethan Hamp (Von Steuben)
Hamp recorded 21 goals at the Jones/Payton Tournament to help the Panthers
finish in second place and totaled 41 goals for the week as the Panthers
started the season with a 4-1 mark.
Jake Otto/Scott Villiard (Libertyville)
Villiard recorded 14 goals and Otto stopped 41 shots as the Wildcats won
the Bradley Tournament after wins over R-B, Shepard and the hosts.
Kent Emden/Matt Reagan (Naperville Central)
Reagan recorded 13 goals while Emden allowed just two goals per game as
the Redhawks went 4-0 at the Naperville North Tournament.
Travis Tanner (Homewood-Flossmoor)
Tanner recorded 17 goals to help the Vikings finish the Palatine
Tournament with a 3-1 record. He also totaled 9 scores and 5 assists as
H-F defeated Hinsdale South earlier in Week 1.
