Bradley Yendro (St Ignatius)
Yendro has quickly become a valuable offensive weapon for the Wolfpack as
he scored 6 goals in the opening week of the season to help SICP start the
season with a 3-2 mark.
Kent Emden (Naperville Central)
The freshman goalkeeper made his debut for the Redhawks at the Metea
Valley Tournament and helped the team post a 4-0 record, recorded a
shutout and allowed just 1.25 goals per game.
GIRLS
Alex Triko (Waubonsie Valley)
Triko totaled 7 goals at the Naperville North Tournament and should prove
to be a valuable offensive option for an improved Warriors' squad.
Brigette Lefebvre (Stevenson)
The sophomore goaltender filled in admirably for the Patriots as they won
their own tournament; the netminder made 20 saves and allowed just 4 goals
per game on Saturday in wins over Lyons, Palatine and Wheeling.
Isabelle Rocco (Naperville North)
Rocco scored 9 goals in the opening week of the season as the sophomore
looks to make a major impact for North in the 2016 campaign.
Maddie Cordell (Lyons)
Cordell totaled 13 goals in the opening week of the season, including an
8-goal performance at the Stevenson Tourney over the weekend.
Paulina Correa (Mother McAuley)
The Mighty Macs' freshman has made an immediate impact for her squad, as
she scored 2 goals in her debut and added 3 scores in an overtime victory
over Lyons.
