Dalesandro, DePuy and Shatinsky helped lead the Wildcats to the Conant
Tournament title as the squad ended Week 8 with a 6-0 record.
Dalesandro scored the game-winning goal with two seconds remaining in
Neuqua's 10-9 victory over Conant in the title game of the Cougars'
tournament. He scored 15 goals during the week and also racked up 27
steals and 13 assists over the weekend.
DePuy notched 13 goals for the Wildcats, scoring 9 times at the Conant
Tournament. He also dished out 12 assists over the entire week and tallied
3 scores in the team's 10-9 title game win over Conant.
Shatinsky led the team in scoring at the Conant Tournament with 11 goals
and totaled 16 scores for the week (despite missing one game due to
illness). He scored 4 times and drew 4 ejections in the Wildcats' win over
Sandburg and also scored 3 times in the title game win over Conant.
GIRLS
Grace Achepohl
York
Achepohl recorded 11 goals and anchored a defense that allowed just 2
goals per game to lead the Lady Dukes to a perfect 3-0 record at their own
tournament on Saturday afternoon.
Achepohl also scored 3 goals in a 9-5 win over Northside on Friday night.
