Week 3 Super Ballers

Johnson totaled 16 goals and Lopez scored 13 times as the Mustangs won the Niles West Tournament with a 4-0 record over the weekend. Johnson nailed the game-winning goal in sudden-death overtime in Rita's 12-11 victory over Stagg. Meanwhile, McMahon made save-after-save to keep the team ahead in three one-goal victories over Niles West, Stagg, and Waubonsie Valley.

Caroline Walsh (Lyons)

Walsh scored 12 goals at the Lyons Tournament to help her team claim the event's title on Saturday. One of those goals was an overtime game-winner against Evanston, a contest in which Walsh scored 5 goals and drew 5 ejections. She also scored 5 times in a 15-5 victory over Mundelein in the event's opening game.
