Week 1 Super Ballers

Nick Walker (Naperville Central)

Walker totaled 18 goals at the Naperville Tournament to lead the Redhawks to a 4-0 record at the event. He poured in 9 goals in a 17-12 win over Neuqua Valley and also scored two key fourth quarter goals in a 10-8 win over Naperville North.

Allison Travetto (Team)

Melissa Gartenberg (Stevenson)

The Patriots' duo excelled on both ends of the pool to help Stevenson start the season with a 3-0 mark after three wins over Top 25 teams (Lyons, Palatine, Wheeling).

Travetto scored 14 goals and contributed 9 assists for the Stevenson offense. Gartenberg scored 13 goals, dished out 7 assists, and totaled 23 steals to lead the defense.
