scoring 6 goals in an 12-11 overtime victory over STC East on Monday and
then scoring 11 times in an 18-17 loss to #8 Stagg on Saturday afternoon.
Chase Lesniak/Marshall Mathias (Barrington)
Mathias totaled 13 goals and Lesniak added 10 scores to lead the Broncos
to the Metea Valley Tournament title on Saturday.
Danny Farmer/Ryan Masi (Fenwick)
Farmer totaled 15 goals and Masi scored 12 times to lead the Friars to the
Catholic League title over the weekend.
Jack Linden/Tommy Kaptur (Lyons)
Linden and Kaptur combined to limit Hinsdale Central and Oak Park to just
7 goals as the Lions claimed the WSC Tournament title.
Kyle Jackson/Nick Walker (Naperville Central)
Jackson totaled 12 goals and Walker added 8 scores as the Redhawks won the
Stevenson Tournament after wins over the hosts, LWC and Neuqua Valley.
GIRLS
Allison Travetto (Stevenson)
Travetto recorded 12 goals to lead the Patriots to a 3-0 mark at their own
event after wins over LWC, NC and Neuqua.
Amber Barney/Rebecca Tanner (H-F)
Barney totaled 11 goals and Tanner made 31 saves to help the Vikings end
the regular season with two more wins and a third place finish in the SWSC
Blue division.
Carmen Rosas/Mady Demaret (Conant)
Rosas scored 6 goals and Demaret made 13 saves in the Cougars' 14-8 MSL
title-game victory over Wheeling. Rosas also scored 3 times and Demaret
made 15 saves in a 9-5 victory over Bremen on Tuesday.
Elizabeth McKenna/Kaleigh Dolan (New Trier)
Dolan scored 5 key goals and McKenna made 26 saves as the Trevians won the
CSL Tournament title with wins over Highland Park, Maine West and
Evanston. Dolan also put in 2 key goals in the Trevians 4-3 win over
Naperville North.
Jilian Eiken (Naperville North)
Eiken scored 15 goals to lead the Huskies past Fremd and Libertyville on
Saturday in preparation for the postseason. The Huskies' senior also
scored 6 times in a 16-6 win over Hinsdale South earlier in the week.
Jilly Cronin/Jordin Hale (Oak Park)
Cronin totaled 10 goals and Hale made 32 saves and earned a shutout as the
Huskies won the WSC Tournament title on Saturday afternoon.
Jocelyn Lent (Metea Valley)
Lent made 23 saves to help the Mustangs finish undefeated at their own
event with wins over Barrington and Elk Grove and a draw with Bremen.
Julie Olivares (Mother McAuley)
Olivares totaled 9 goals to help the Mighty Macs beat Loyola and Marian to
finish in third place at the MCAC Tournament over the weekend.
Marti Hale (Northside)
Hale totaled 15 goals at the CPS Tournament to lead the Mustangs to a
second-place finish at the event.
Theresa Godlewski (Wheeling)
Godlewski racked up 28 goals to lead the Wildcats to the Mundelein
Tournament title after wins over the hosts, Latin and Bradley.
