Chuck Henrichs (St Rita)
Henrichs led all scorers at the STC North Tournament with 17 goals as the
Mustangs walked away from the event with a 2-1 record.
Connor Reynolds/Jack Carroll (Hersey)
Carroll scored 12 goals and Reynolds put in 9 scores to help the Huskies
finish 2-1 at the STC North Tournament over the weekend. Carroll also
netted 2 goals in the team's 10-3 win over Prospect on Monday.
Danny Farmer (Fenwick)
Farmer scored 16 goals to lead all scorers at the prestigious Stevenson
Tournament as the Friars finished the event with a 3-1 record.
Kristian Kalev/Omar El Hoffi/Wally Kleinfeldt (Palatine)
The Palatine trio scored 31 of the team's 33 goals over the weekend at the
Stevenson Tournament. They also scored 10 times total in Monday's 11-8
victory over Conant. In addition, they scored all 17 of the squad's goals
in a 17-13 win over York on Wednesday.
Matt Kearney/Trevor Prince (Loyola)
Kearney totaled 9 goals at the Stevenson Tournament; he scored 3 times in
three of the team's four games, including wins over Fenwick, Oak Park, and
Stevenson. Prince made 21 saves and 9 steals during the event, which
included four games against Top 10 teams.
Nathan Kriha (Lyons)
Kriha recorded 15 goals over the weekend at the Stevenson Tournament as
the Lions went 2-2 at the event. He also put in 5 goals in Thursday's 12-5
win over Waubonsie and played a key role in Tuesday's upset win over #1
Naperville North.
Nick Walker/Ryan Donahue (Naperville Central)
Walker and Donahue both scored 7 goals to lead a balanced Redhawks' attack
to a 3-1 record at the Stevenson Tourney, which included wins over Loyola,
Lyons, and New Trier.
Simon Shatinsky (Neuqua Valley)
Shatinsky totaled 16 goals to lead Neuqua Valley to the Conant Tournament
title with a 4-0 record on Saturday. He also scored 7 times in the
Wildcats' 14-6 win over York.
GIRLS
Catie Wallace/Colleen Barron (Fenwick)
The Fenwick duo combined to score 24 goals to help the top-ranked Friars
win the Rockford Tournament over the weekend, which included a 12-8 win
over Michigan's top-ranked team (Okemos).
Liz Klock/Sabrina Miglorini (LWC)
Klock led the Knights' offense with 7 goals and Miglorini made 33 saves
and allowed just 10 goals during a three game stretch to help Central
finish 2-2 at the Rockford Tournament in Michigan. Klock also tallied 3
scores and Miglorini made 7 saves in Central's 12-3 win over LWW on
Thursday.
Marlee Nork (Jones-Payton)
Nork scored 7 goals in a 13-9 win over Lake View, totaled 5 goals in an
11-8 overtime win over Morton, plus registered 3 goals in the Eagles' CSL
Tournament win over Mather over the weekend.
Perri Brinkmeier (York)
Brinkmeier led all scorers at the York Tourney and helped the Dukes finish
with a 2-1 record at their own event on Saturday.
Theresa Godlewski (Wheeling)
The Wildcats' junior scored 8 times in Monday's 13-6 win over BG and
notched 10 scores in Wednesday's16-9 victory over Barrington.
