Week 3 Ballers

 

BOYS

Bradin Krug/Cameron Steele (Waubonsie Valley)

Krug and Steele combined to score 24 goals in the Warriors' third-place effort at the Niles West Tournament.

 

Nick Dalzell (Bradley)

Dalzell recorded 10 goals and 10 assists to lead the Boilers to the NSP Tournament title on Saturday.

 

Robert Rodriguez (DLS)

Rodriguez totaled 13 goals at the Niles West Tournament to help the Meteors finish in second place with a 3-1 record at the event.

 

Wil Hubert (York)

Hubert recorded 10 goals in wins over Hinsdale Central and Morton as the Dukes stayed perfect in the West Suburban Conference and improved to 7-2 on the season.

 

Zack Amendola (Stagg)

Amendola scored 14 goals to lead the Chargers' offense to a fourth-place finish at the Niles West Tournament.

 

 

 

 

GIRLS

Caroline Walsh (Lyons)

Walsh led the Lions on both ends of the pool with 9 goals and 16 steals as they won their own tournament with wins over Mundelein, Neuqua Valley, and Stevenson on Saturday.

 

Jenny Stelnicki (St Ignatius)

The sophomore goaltender blocked 43 shots and only let in 3 goals per game as the Wolfpack won their own tournament with a 4-0 record over the weekend.

 

Marta Considine (Loyola)

The Ramblers' senior tallied 15 goals in wins over New Trier, H-F, and Northside as Loyola finished in second place at the St Ignatius Tournament. She also secured a prom date via illpolo.com earlier in the week.

 

Megan Hofer (Andrew)

Hofer led all scorers at the LWE Tournament with 15 goals as the T-Bolts claimed a third-place finish at the event.

 

Rebecca Sudworth (Jones-Payton)

Sudworth netted 9 goals in CPS wins over Curie and Lake View during Week 3 just one week after scoring 14 goals in the Eagles' second-place finish at their own tournament.
