-New Trier started the period witha 6-on-5 but couldn't score, but they earn a penalty shot a minute later

-Callen denies Stephanie Jodloman's penalty shot and Stevenson heads the other way

-The teams trade possessions before Gartenberg fires in a shot from 9m to give Stevenson a 3-1 lead

-Bishop gets to a loose ball to prevent another scoring attempt by the Patriots

-Jacqueline Glattard tries a lob attempt from 2m but Callen is up to the task to make the save

-Gartenberg passes to Travetto on the left wing and she scores after an ejection to make the score 4-1

-Impressive stuff from Stevenson, as Travetto grabs a rebound after Gartenberg hit the post...

-...she then drew an ejection, then scored off a feed from Sara Ploch moments later

-Gartenberg scores a breakaway goal with just under two minutes left for Stevenson

-Callen makes a save, starts the counterattack, but Gartenberg's chance just won't cross the goalline

-Travetto makes a perimeter steal but turns in over on the other end

-Gartenberg's steal leads to a breakaway and Travetto eventually finds Alexa Kotlyar for her first goal

-Frank prevents a rebound attempt and starts the New Trier counterattack

-Gartenberg makes a perimeter steal and assists Oliver on another breakaway goal; 11-1 Stevenson

-Lauren Barrett strikes from 5m for the Trevians to make the score 11-2

-Ploch has an immediate response to put Stevenson back ahead by double-digits at the end of Q3

-New Trier earn an ejection but Dolan's shot from the left side just misses the corner

-Jodloman drives with the ball inside 7m and fires a shot that Burns blocks

Stevenson 13 New Trier 2

Allison Travetto recorded 5 goals and Melissa Gartenberg scored 4 times to lead Stevenson to a 13-2 win over New Trier on Friday afternoon. Annika Hotchkiss, Alexa Kotlyar, Ashley Oliver, and Sara Ploch each added one goal in the win for the Patriots. Lauren Barrett and Shannon Kent each scored once in the loss for the Trevians.
