-Loyola gets the first possession but the Palatine defense is ready for them
and force a turnover
-The Ramblers earn a steal of their own and Ragen Murphy strikes first with
a lob from seven meters
-Kristian Kalev answers immediately on the other end from just inside five

-Make that two goals for Murphy, as his lob shot nicks the crossbar and just
crosses the line

the period
-Colin White gets his fingertips on a Loyola shot and Palatine takes over

-Shewchuck gets the first attempt on goal of the period, but his
seven meter chance goes wide left
-White saves a lob attempt by Baker, but Prince blocks another shot
for Loyola at the other end
-Shewchuck walks it in from the left side and fires a shot into the
right corner; 7-3 Loyola
-Ryan Schlaiss makes a block at two meters to prevent a Loyola
scoring chance
-After an ejection, Baker feeds Matt Kearney at the left post, and
he skips a shot in from inside 4m
-Kalev connects on his fourth goal to stop the Ramblers' run; Loyola
8-4
-Schermerhorn scores again at the other end and Loyola now leads 9-4
-The Ramblers force a turnover and Andrew Hodur puts them ahead 10-4

-Kearney fights for a loose ball and puts in a rebound goal from the
left post to make it 13-4
-White makes a save on one end, Prince does the same on the other
side as we hit the mid-point of Q3
-El Hoffi draws an ejection and Ryan Mockus finds Kalev open at 7m
and he nets another goal
-Immediate response from Murphy, who connects on an outside shot to

-Brian Hulseman earns a penalty shot but skips one off the bar that
White retrieves
-Kleinfeldt fights for position at 2m and beats the defense to score
his first and cut the lead to 14-6

-Palatine makes a stop on Loyola's first chance, then Prince
deflects Kleinfeldt's attempt over the bar
-Schlaiss forces a turnover but the Ramblers' defense prevents two
shots before Kalev hits the bar
-Kleinfeldt eventually gets the ball on the left post and makes a
move to score his second of the game
-Baran forces a turnover and Kalev rockets a shot that goes through
Prince and in; Loyola 14-8
-White makes a crucial save as Palatine looks to make a big run
-Loyola with a stop and Murphy tallies his fourth goal on the other
end as Loyola goes ahead 15-8
-White comes out to make a steal, Palatine draws an ejection, but
they turn the ball over quickly
-The Ramblers look to whittle down the clock with each possession as
the final minute approaches
-Time expires as the Ramblers move on to the semifinals with a 15-9
win over Palatine
