-After an ejection, Tammy Stelnicki lofted a shot from the left that missed

-Ignatius starts with possession but Fenwick force a turnover
-Wallace was challenged by Beca Martinez and her shot was tipped
into the hands of Jenny Stelnicki
-The teams trade turnovers
-Lexi Buglio stops an outside shot by Diana Fernandez
-Colleen Barron comes into 2m to make a steal on an attempted entry
pass to Fernandez
-Stelnicki drew an ejection but Buglio stopped Nikol Lagodzinska's
shot from 7m
-Buglio stretches to make a save and Fenwick heads the other way on
offense
-Fenwick cannot get a shot off, Buglio tips a ball out of play
-Martinez quickly scores from 5m and the Wolfpack take a 2-1 lead
with 1:50 left in Q2
-Ovalle gets into 2m with the ball but is denied by Jenny Stelnicki
-Buglio comes out of the net to make a steal to deny an Ignatius'
counter
-Wallace draws an ejection but Jenny Stelnicki makes a save on

PERIOD 3
-Barron drives to 2m and is open but Jenny Stelnicki is there to
block her shot
-Wallace and Carey team up to make a steal and Carey finds Barron
open for a breakaway lob goal
-SICP can't score after an ejection but they force a turnover on the
other end
-Shot clock expires on Ignatius and Barron gets inside water at 2m
to put Fenwick ahead; Wallace assist
-Stephania Lopez shoots over the goal from 7m
-Carey steals a pass intended for Lagodzinska at 2m
-Timeout (2:39 remaining)
-Ovalle breaks up the play with a steal and Fenwick goes the other
direction
-Stelnicki passes out of 2m to Fernandez but she strikes the left
post with her 7m shot from the point
-Wallace gives Fenwick a 4-2 lead with an outside shot with 1:45
left in Q3
-Jenny Stelnicki blocks Wallace's breakaway chance from 2m
-Buglio heroically blocks Juarez' shot from 2m when it looked like
sure goal

-Angelini comes through again with her second goal and Fenwick leads
6-2 with six minutes remaining
-Jaurez gets open at 2m on the left post but Wallace comes from
behind to force a turnover
-The Fenwick defense has not allowed a goal in the second half and
continues to shut down SICP
-Meanwhile, the Friars are relatively happy to run the clock down as
much as possible
-Fernandez strikes from 2m and cuts the lead to 6-3 with 1:44 left
-Fenwick earns a key stop and calls timeout just 1:09 away from
winning the state title
-Timeout (1:09 remaining)
-The Friars run the shot clock down and Ignatius will have one more
possession
-A steal by Maggie Sheean means that FENWICK WINS THE GIRLS STATE
