-Both defenses start off strong in a scoreless opening minute
-Geena Peyton makes an early save on Colleen Barron's 7m attempt
-Julie Olivares lobs a shot over the goal from outside 7m
-Barron makes a field block to prevent a goal for the Friars after an
ejection
-Fran Williamson won't allow Catie Wallace to beat her down the right side;
Fenwick gets a new shot clock
-McAuley force a turnover and head down on offense
-Williamson is left alone on the left post and she collects herself before
slamming a shot into the net
-The teams trade turnovers before Bridget Carey draws an ejection and scores
from the left side!
-Buglio makes a strong save as the game heads toward the final minute of Q1

-Peyton comes up big with a save on Fenwick's first attempt of the
second period
-Bryar lobs a shot into the left side of the cage from 7m and
McAuley pulls ahead 4-1
-Wallace draws an ejection and Janie Angelini scores from the left
side to cut the lead to 4-2
-Barron draws an ejection but Peyton is able to make a save and
preserve the two goal lead
-O'Connell's lob attempt just misses the left corner and Buglio gets
the rebound
-Barron draws a penalty and converts to the right side to make the
score 4-3
-Barron finds an opening on the right post near 4m and scores to tie
the game at 4-4
-Buglio saves Bryar's 5m attempt but an ejection is called after the
shot
-Gaby Perez makes a perimeter steal to prevent a scoring chance for
McAuley
-Timeout (2:59 remaining)
-Peyton comes out of the net to make a steal after the Fenwick
timeout
-Williamson's long range effort falls shot and Buglio starts the
offense for Fenwick
-Barron draws a foul at 7m and shoots but Peyton is there to make a

-Bryar nearly turns her defender all the way and tries a semi-lob
that goes over the goal
-O'Connell is on hand to earn a steal as McAuley takes us into the

PERIOD 3
-Peyton makes an important save to start the period for McAuley
-Claire Mueller's 7m attempt is denied by Buglio
-Barron strikes from 5m out to tie the game at 6-6
-Dangerous to leave Barron open on the left after an ejection, and
she makes it 7-6 with her fourth goal
-Ovalle shoots over the goal from 9m as the shot clock expired
-Bryar tries to turn and shoot but the ball slips out of her hand
and Fenwick takes over
-Barron scores her third straight to put Fenwick ahead 8-6
-Angelini scores from 7m after an ejection and Fenwick is on a 4-0
run and leading 9-6
-Timeout (2:38 remaining)
-The teams trade turnovers after the timeout as we enter the final
two minutes of the period
-Angelini scores again from the left side and the Friars are taking
control in the second half; 10-6 Fenwick
-Buglio makes a save but McAuley will get a fresh shot clock
-McAuley draws a late ejection but Williamson's 7m shot goes wide
right
-Fenwick will look for the last shot but it comes to nothing as the
period ends

PERIOD 4
-Neither team can score in the opening minute of the period
-Williamson gets a chance from 5m but it hits the post and Buglio
recovers the loose ball
-Fenwick running the clock down as Buglio holds until the shot clock
expires
-Clare Bryar finally ends the Fenwick run to cut the lead to 10-7
with 4:11 left
-Ovalle immediately answers from outside with her first goal of the
contest; Fenwick 11-7
-Williamson strikes again from near 2m to make the score 11-8
-McAuley draws an ejection, Mueller can't get a shot from 2m, then
Ovalle blocks the next attempt
-Wallace scores on the other end and Fenwick pulls ahead 12-8 with
2:24 left
-Another stop for Fenwick as they continue to bleed the clock down
-Fenwick will play for the title after beating McAuley 12-8!
