-Palmer wins the swim-off for the Trevians, Schulz tried a lob but it's right into Shabel's arms

-North can't get anything going on their first possession and the Trevians will try again

-Inside position for McCulloch and he draws a penalty! Palmer scores to the left corner for NT!

-Duin tries a skip shot from seven meters that goes wide left

-The Huskies get a stop, then Curia scores from the left side to the right corner and we are tied

-The Trevians draw an ejection but misfire with their first shot attempt over the goal

-Friesen makes a save on the other end for New Trier

-McCulloch stays strong at two meters and puts New Trier ahead 2-1 with a goal

-Landiak answers from the point, drilling a shot into the left corner to tie the score once again

-Duin draws an ejection on Palmer and Curia is left open on the left wing to put the Huskies ahead 3-2

-Palmer bounces back by scoring from outside seven meters and we are back even at 3-3

-Shabel makes  a save to stop the scoring by both teams

-McCulloch with a fine defensive play at two meters to force a turnover

-Shabel blocks a shot, Johnson gets to the carom but Shabel punches it away to safety to prevent a goal

-Naperville North timeout - 1:04 remaining

-After an ejection, Landiak feeds Roberts who elevates on the left post to beat Friesen; 4-3 North

-Friesen with a steal, ahead to Palmer, who finds Ryan open at two meters and he ties the game at 4-4

-Seconds left for Naperville North and New Trier makes a stop as the horn sounds

NAPERVILLE NORTH 4 NEW TRIER 4

PERIOD 2

-New Trier starts with and Shabel tips Bartha's lob attempt over the goal

-Palmer leans back to take a pass and slot into the left corner to put the Trevians ahead 5-4

-McClure tries a lob that goes over the crossbar

-Ryan earns a steal for the Trevians; North with a defensive stand as well

-Curia misses wide right, North gets the rebound but turn the ball over

-Shabel makes a solid save on the other end

-Curia's shot attempt from the left side is blocked by Friesen

-Roberts with a steal for the Huskies; Matt Weiser does the same for NT

-Roberts skips a shot past Friesen's outstretched arm into the left corner to tie the game at 5-5

-Perimeter steal by Schulz, but then Roberts earns a steal at the other end for North

-Roberts is open on the left post after an ejection but the goal is disallowed for being inside two meters

-The Trevians draw a kickout at the other end; Bartha capitalizes from outside to give New Trier the lead

-Friesen elevates to make a save as the shot clock expired for North

-Weiser gets position at two meters and slams a shot into the left corner, 7-5 New Trier

-Friesen blocks a shot after an ejection as halftime has arrived with New Trier leading 7-5

NEW TRIER 7 NAPERVILLE NORTH 5

PERIOD 3

-North gets a stop on New Trier's first possession of the half; McCulloch with a two meter steal for NT

-Nyland walks it in, feeds Curia at 2m, and he connects to trim the lead to 7-6

-Shabel blocks a missile from Palmer

-Curia gets to a rebound but hits the post from close range and Friesen recovers the loose ball

-The teams trade possessions without any great looks at goal

-Curia earns a penalty at two meters; Friesen blocks Duin's penalty shot!

-Duin with a bit of redemption with a field block after New Trier earned an ejection

-Curia gets a rebound in front of goal but Friesen gets a fingertip on it and knocks it off the post

-Shabel with a save on the other end

-Nash smashed the post with a shot and Curia turned it over at two meters

-New Trier draws an ejection but can't get a shot on goal

-Curia recovers another loose ball at two meters and this time converts to tie the game!

-Roberts finds Landiak on the left side but his shot misses to the near post

-North gets close to great position but the New Trier defense holds them without a shot as period ends

NEW TRIER 7 NAPERVILLE NORTH 7

PERIOD 4

-New Trier starts with it and draws a quick ejection; Palmer's skip shot is blocked by Shabel

-North quickly turns it over, loose ball scramble in New Trier's end

-New Trier eventually starts over with possession but North finally gets the ball for their first possession

-Curia scores on North's first possession of the period to give the Huskies an 8-7 lead

-After an ejection, Curia hits the crossbar from the left side and New Trier claims the loose ball

-New Trier timeout - 4:38 remaining

-Quick stop for North after the timeout; Curia draws an ejection...

-Naperville North timeout - 4:00 left

-McClure is left open on the left side and he converts to the near post to give North a 9-7 advantage

-Roberts hits the post from seven meters as New Trier takes over trailing by two goals

-Lob attempt by Johnson that goes over the goal from seven meters

-Landiak scores from outside and Naperville North takes a 10-7 lead!

-New Trier timeout - 2:08 remaining

-Ryan draws a foul outside seven meters and connects to the right corner to make it 10-8

-Ryan scores again from five meters, this time the ball trickled just over the goalline, 10-9!

-New Trier with a stop, turnover by the Trevians

-Naperville North timeout - 0:58 left

-North earns an ejection, Landiak hits the crossbar, Friesen is pressured and his pass goes out of play

-North with another ejection as they try to run the clock out

-And they do! Naperville North hangs on to beat New Trier 10-9!
