PERIOD 1
-The Wolfpack start things off on offense but Altuve earns a steal on an
entry pass into two meters
-The teams trade possessions in a nervy first minute for both offenses
-Reagan comes out of the goal to earn a steal for Central
-Fernandez with a steal at two meters, but SICP turns it over on the other
end
-Spaits gets open in transition but Martinez cuts her off
-Codo gets the Redhawks' best chance on a drive to the left post but
Stelnicki denies her
-Nervig draws an ejection but Stelnicki makes another save and the teams
remain scoreless
-Insalaco draws an ejection and beautiful passing
leads to her scoring the opener from the right side
-Quick response on the other end as Altuve ties things
up at 1-1
-Stelnicki makes a block but Central gets the rebound and an ejection is
called on Ignatius
-Central timeout with 2:33 left in the opening quarter
-After the timeout, Insalaco forces a turnover at two meters and the score
remains tied
-Insalaco draws an ejection, but Martinez has her shot tipped out of play
and NC takes over
-Doyle draws an ejection for Central, Stelnicki makes two great saves, but
Spaits puts in the rebound
-We are back even at 2-2 after Tammy Stelnicki scores
on a penalty shot for SICP
-Neither team gets a solid chance to score in the final minute so we head to
the second period tied 2-2

PERIOD 2
-Tammy Stelnicki scores her second goal after an ejection to start the
second quarter
-SICP with a stop, Altuve with a steal, Insalaco steals it back, and
Stelnicki shoots over the goal
-Altuve ties the game at 3-3 with a quick goal at the other end for Central
-Stelicki drew an ejection, a mad scramble ensued after a missed shot that
Reagan finally corrals
-Fernandez forces a turnover on the other end
-Leslie Calabrese gives the Redhawks a 4-3 lead from
five meters out
-The Redhawks get a stop but turn the ball over on the other end
-Martinez fires a rocket past Reagan from the right
side to tie the game
-Codo draws an ejection, but Martinez earns a perimeter steal to prevent a
scoring chance
-The Wolfpack defense holds Central without a shot as we enter the final
minute of the half
-Insalaco gives Ignatius the lead with a goal from
inside five meters; 5-4 with 0:49 left in the half
-Juarez and Insalaco team up to make a steal and
Insalaco scores a breakaway goal
-Time runs out for the Redhawks as they trail 6-4 at the break after a late
rally by St Ignatius

PERIOD 3
-The teams trade steals to start the period and
Calabrese scored a breakaway to make it 6-5
-Juarez answers quickly for SICP to make it 7-5
-After turnovers by each team, Insalaco scores inside four meters increase
the SICP lead to 8-5
-Naperville Central timeout
-Spaits picks up a loose ball as the Redhawks get a stop to stay within
three of Ignatius
-Maloney draws a penalty and Stelnicki slams a shot
into the left corner; 9-5 Ignatius lead
-Fernandez forces a turnover and assists Insalaco on a
breakaway goal
-Codo nearly gets free for a scoring chance but is quickly closed down by
two defenders and loses it
-With the shot clock expired, Martinez floats a shot
that lands just across the line for an 11-5 lead
-St Ignatius gets a stop and calls a timeout with 1:21 left
-Insalaco finds Stelnicki open on the left side and
she scores to make it 12-5
-Jenny Stelnicki makes a save and assists Fernandez on
a counterattack goal
-Central drew a late ejection but Ignatius makes a stop and leads 13-5 after
three periods

PERIOD 4
-The Wolfpack misfire on their first possession; Nervig's shot is tipped out
of play and Central still has it
-Jenny and Tammy Stelnicki team up to deny a shot attempt by Spaits
-Insalaco scores again on the other end as the
Wolfpack lead 14-5
-Central earns a penalty shot but Stelnicki blocks Beth Ryan's attempt to
keep the lead at nine
-The Redhawks force a turnover but Stelnicki blocks Ryan's scoring chance at
the other end
-The teams trade possessions and Central calls a timeout with 2:07 remaining
-Angie Korbik and Caroline Aemmer trade late goals as
the score moves to 15-6 in the final minute
-The Wolfpack run the clock down and earn a 15-6 victory over Naperville
Central
