Loyola starts with it and the Ramblers waste no time; Netzel scores
from the right side for a 1-0 lead
Warde's shot attempt is blocked by O'Connor, who starts the Loyola offense
Clarkson comes out of the crease to earn a steal
Hulseman returns the favor with a steal on Latin's counterattack move
Grotewald robs Hulseman at 2m; Loyola forces a turnover...
...leads to counterattack chance for Hulseman, but Clarkson with a save
Warde is ejected but the Ramblers turn it over without a shot
Offensive foul on Latin; Hulseman gets free on a breakaway and drills a
shot to the right corner, 2-0 Loyola
Wickes draws an ejection but Levin's shot attempt hits the post
Latin tries to work the ball to Himmel at 2m but the Ramblers crash and
steal the entry pass
Dowdle comes open at 2m on the right post and slots into the right
corner for a 3-0 Loyola advantage
Latin timeout
Himmel's backhand is stopped by O'Connor
Netzel quickly scores on the other end, assisted by Hulseman, and
Loyola leads 4-0
Gorleku clips the post and Loyola takes over on offense
Dowdle's backhand smacks the post and Latin gets to the loose ball
Latin turns it over after no clear scoring chances
Himmel and Wilkie combine to earn a steal, then Himmel is left alone to
score from outside
Into the final minute, Loyola's possession comes to nothing
Himmel with another score from 2m cuts the Ramblers lead in half
Dowdle hits the post, Loyola gets the rebound and they draw an ejection,
but nothing comes of their chance
Hulseman with a steal and draws an ejection on Wickes
Loyola timeout
Hulseman lobs a shot in from the left side as time expires in the first
period!
Loyola coach Dan Hengelmann called a timeout after the ejection with just
two seconds left in the period...
...Latin didn't seem to think Loyola would try to score, but one pass and
one shot later and Loyola scores a huge goal.

Wilkie misfires to start the
quarter for Latin
Dowdle connects from outside 7m on
a quick shot, assisted by Goosmann
Loyola forces a turnover
Gorleku ejected, Stauder finds
Hulseman open on the left side and he beats Clarkson to the left side
Hulseman with a steal, draws a second
ejection on Wickes...
...and Stauder finds Netzel open
and he makes it 8-2!
Wickes with the answer for Latin to
stop the bleeding and make the score 8-3
Grotewald earns a steal, but Hodur
does the same on the other end of the pool
Crazy scramble in front of the Latin
goal but the Ramblers can't add another goal
Himmel with an ejection for a kick
away from the ball...
...Stauder quickly scores and
Loyola goes ahead 9-3.
Himmel's shot goes over the goal
Latin gets it back and Himmel
scores his third with a backhand goal
The Romans get a stop, then Himmel
assists Wickes with a goal from close range for Latin
Wilkie ejection; Buehler hits the post
and then Himmel blocks a shot attempt by Dowdle
Himmel draws an ejection on Hulseman,
but Wickes shoots wide left and Loyola takes over
Loyola turnover; Latin turnover;
Considine's lob goes over the goal
Wickes connects on a 7m shot from
the right and Latin is back in it, trailing 9-6 at the half

Clarkson denies Dowdle on Loyola's first possession
Dowdle's second ejection gives Latin a scoring chance, but Levin's shot
goes over the goal
Hodur draws an ejection on Grotewald, but Clarkson with an important save
on Loyola's 2m chance
Wickes draws a foul and a quick shot gets Latin to within just two
goals of the Ramblers
Official's timeout
Netzel draws an ejection on Grotewald, Considine assists Dowdle on a
goal from the right side
Levin's 7m shot gets past O'Connor for a quick response from Latin
Wickes shoots over the goal
Loyola turnover; Wickes can't get his shot on target from 2m
Himmel ejected and Netzel scores quickly for the Ramblers
Latin's next attempt is off target, then Dowdle scores from 7m to give
Loyola a 12-8 lead
Himmel scores on a backhand from 2m as the offenses are on fire!
The teams trade possessions without a scoring chance
Stauder draws a penalty!
Officials timeout
Stauder eventually scores to the left side to give Loyola a 13-9
advantage
Himmel's backhand attempt is off target
Hodur shoots over the goal for the Ramblers
Both teams can't get anything going in the final minute and we head to the
final period with Loyola ahead by four

QUARTER 4
Latin starts with it down four; O'Connor saves a 7m shot from Himmel
The Romans get a stop on the other end
Hodur ejected; Latin timeout
Wickes to Himmel to Levin and he scores from the left side to make it
13-10
Hodur ejected after an offensive foul and now a penalty awarded to Latin!
Hodur took a shot after the whistle, was ejected, didn't know it, and the
penalty was awarded
Himmel connects on the penalty to make the score 13-11
Latin with a stop, Hulseman with a steal and draws Himmel's third kickout!
Buehler missed the ensuing breakaway attempt
Loyola with a stop at the 4:00 mark
Wilkie scores from inside 4m and the Loyola lead is cut to 13-12
Loyola timeout
Stauder is left wide open as he drives to 2m and he scores as the shot
clock expires!
With the shot clock winding down, Goosmann drew a foul. The Latin defense
started heading the other way...
...leaving Stauder alone to drive to the right post and beat Clarkson to
the left corner
Loyola forces a turnover; Wickes ejected for the third time, but Stauder
clanks a shot off the crossbar
Dowdle passes to Hulseman on the left side but he skips a shot off the
post and Clarkson grabs the loose ball
Field block for Dowdle on Hirschman's attempt
Latin makes a stop and takes a timeout with 1:30 remaining
Wilkie's shot tips the right post and Loyola takes over and looks to run
the clock under one minute
Clarkson comes out of the crease to make a steal
Missed shot on the other end for Latin, so Loyola will run the clock as
much as possible
Latin cannot find the net in the final minute and Loyola holds on for the
14-12 victory
