Hulseman scored in the first minute to give Loyola a 1-0 lead
After two straight stops, Dowdle scores from 7m to put Loyola ahead 2-0
Lockport finding it difficult to get any open looks; Yaeger comes out of
the net to make a steal
Hulseman fights for position at 2m and then feeds Dowdle, who scores
from 5m out to make it 3-0
Another stop for the Ramblers...but Yaeger makes a save on the other end
Hodur is left alone at 7m and he steps up and finds the left corner to
his liking for a 4-0 Loyola lead
Lockport ejection leads to a goal from the left side from Stauder
O'Connor hasn't been tested much, but he makes a save late in the period
Loyola can run the clock out, but Dowdle tries his luck from beyond
halfway and scores at the buzzer!

QUARTER 2
Yaeger and O'Connor trade saves at the beginning of the second period
Penalty drawn by Hulseman and he converts from the spot to make it 7-0
Loyola
O'Connor blocks a shot by Hir
Netzel gets in on the act with a goal from 5m and the Ramblers are
comfortably ahead 8-0
Another stop and another goal for Loyola, this time from Dowdle
Trent finally gets the Porters on the scoreboard with a goal from the
right side
After a turnover, Hir connects from 5m and Lockport makes it 9-2
O'Connor blocks a shot to deny a third consecutive goal for Lockport
Hulseman draws an ejection but Loyola turns the ball over as we near the
two minute mark
Quick goal from Oldendorf makes it 9-3
Loyola timeout
Quick work from the Ramblers to get Stauder open on the left post for a
goal
Hulseman again finds Stauder open at 2m and he pushes in his second
straight goal
Hir responds with a quick goal for the Porters
Formosa with a steal and Yaeger's shot is blocked by O'Connor at the end
of the half

QUARTER 3
Neither team can score on their opening possession to start the second
half
Yaeger's aggressive play backfires as he is rolled from the game! John
Goetz will replace him
That means Yaeger will also miss the next game for Lockport
Already at the midpoint of the third period with neither team able to get
a high-quality scoring chance
Dowdle and Buehler both called for ejections, but the Loyola defenses
holds off the Porters
Stauder is ejected, but O'Connor blocks a shot attempt

Dowdle with a chance but Goetz makes a save to prevent what looked like a
sure goal
Hulseman with a perimeter steal, draws an ejection, is denied by Goetz and
the Lockport goalie gets to the loose ball first

After a stop, Hulseman nets his third goal and Loyola goes ahead 12-4
Netzel's backhand goes over the head of Goetz and in, assisted by
Pasquesi
The Ramblers with a stop and they run the clock out in the third period
with a 13-4 advantage

QUARTER 4
Jump ball is the result after the swim-off and Loyola will take it first
Dowdle scores from 2m on the Ramblers first possession
O'Connor blocks Hir's attempt on the other end
Stauder finds Hodur open and he scores from inside 4m for Loyola
Knowles' 7m shot is saved by O'Connor
Hir scores on the other end for Lockport to cut the lead to 15-5
The teams trade possessions without a good scoring chance for either squad
Pasquesi is ejected
Lockport timeout
Formosa's shot attempt nicks the post and doesn't cross the line and
O'Connor gets it
Goetz makes a save to deny Considine

The Porters turn it over on their next possession
Turnovers galore on both ends of the pool in the final two minutes, with
neither team able to score...
...until Speechley scores from the left side with :25 remaining in
regulation
Finn's late attempt is blocked by Goetz
Speechley's final shot hits the crossbar and stays out as the horn sounds
to end the contest
