Shelton helped Lindblom improve to 6-2 in 2012 by totaling 19 goals in
wins over Chicago Ag and Washington in Week 4.
Randy Carr/Marty Kwiatkowski (Schaumburg)
The Saxons' duo combined to score 20 goals and helped the team stay
undefeated at their own event over the weekend. Carr scored 5 times in a
13-5 win over Mundelein and added 4 scores in a 10-6 victory over
Libertyville. Kwiatkowski led the team with 3 scores in a 10-7 win over
York and scored 2 times in all of the Saxons' other games.
Ryan Miller (Niles West)
Miller scored 4 goals in an 11-10 title game win over Stagg to help the
Wolves' win their own tournament. He also led them to wins over Foreman,
St Rita, and Waubonsie Valley.
Shaun Seuscheck (STC East)
Seuschek recorded 13 goals at the Schaumburg Tournament over the weekend,
leading the Saints to wins over Lafayette and Wheeling and a 9-9 draw with
Schaumburg.
Clare Bryar (Mother McAuley)
Bryar led the Mighty Macs with 4 goals in a 12-3 victory over Sandburg on
Monday, then tallied 4 more goals in McAuley's 13-7 triumph over Bremen on
Friday night.
Daniejela Jackovich (Lincoln-Way Central)
Jackovich scored 5 times in an 18-10 win over Richards and added 4 goals
in the Knights' 7-6 victory over H-F on Tuesday afternoon.
Emily Koss/Zoe McCabe (Lincoln-Way East)
Koss and McCabe helped LWE claim a second-place finish at their own
tournament over the weekend. The pair scored 5 times in the Griffins' 12-4
victory over LWW, Koss totaled 4 scores in a 9-8 semifinal win over
Andrew, and McCabe notched 3 scores in a 10-7 title game loss to LWN.
Jamie Pappanastos (Sandburg)
Pappanastos totaled 11 goals in wins over Lane and Lincoln-Way East during
Week 4, helping the Eagles stay perfect in the SWSC and move to 7-3
overall in 2012. She also scored 7 times in a 10-8 loss to Loyola on
Saturday.
Marta Considine (Loyola)
The Ramblers' sophomore scored 20 goals in four games during Week 4,
helping the team post a 3-1 record. She registered 10 goals in victories
over Marian and Evanston, then recorded 5 goals in Loyola's 10-8 victory
over Sandburg on Saturday. She also scored 5 times in a midweek loss to St
Ignatius.
Medina Husejnovic (Maine East)
Husejnovic totaled 8 goals and 12 steals as Maine East put
another win in their belt as they beat Hoffman 13-4 on Friday.
Tricia Paul (Lincoln-Way East)
The Griffins' goalkeeper made 28 saves in wins over Andrew and LWW on
Friday night, helping her team advance to the title game of their own
tournament. She also made 21 saves in the final game, a 10-7 loss to LWN.
