Charlie Dowdle (Loyola)

Dowdle led the Ramblers back to the state tournament with a 15-goal performance at the GBN Sectional in Week 10. He notched 3 scores in Loyola's tournament-opening 15-3 win over Maine South, then tallied 6 scores (including two in the fourth quarter) in a 15-12 comeback win over GBS in the sectional semifinals.

In the title game, Dowdle registered 6 goals in a convincing 16-11 victory over New Trier, sending the Ramblers to state for the second straight season.

Kyle Braun/Scott Dabrowski (McHenry)

Braun recorded 7 goals and Dabrowski notched 6 scores to help lead McHenry to wins over Mundelein and Palatine on their way to winning the Vernon Hills Sectional over the weekend.

Both players contributed 2 scores in a hard-fought 8-7 win over Mundelein on Friday night. In the title game, Braun put in 5 scores and Dabrowski added 4 goals to lift the Warriors to a 17-7 victory over Palatine, sending the Warriors to the state tournament for the third straight season.
