Adrianna Izquerido (Mother McAuley)

Izquerido scored 3 goals in a 9-6 win over Sandburg in the sectional semifinals, then recorded 4 scores in the Mighty Macs' 7-3 sectional title game win over Lyons.

In the final game, Izquerido scored McAuley's first three goals, including a goal on the team's first possesion that set the tone for the game.

Cheyenne Montijo/Karen Lowry (Stevenson)

Montijo and Lowry combined to score 18 goals in wins over Deer Park, Mundelein, and Wheeling to lead the Patriots to the Vernon Hills Sectional title and a berth in this year's state tournament.

The duo scored 6 of the team's 9 goals in a 9-5 title game win over rival Mundelein. Lowry's game-tying goal in the second quarter started an 8-0 run, while Montijo's followed that effort with a penalty shot goal that gave the Patriots a lead they would never relinquish.
