Sekula scored 10 goals to lead Lyons to a 12-4 victory over H-F on Monday
night and added 6 scores in a 14-9 win over Sandburg on Wednesday. He was
also the Lions' leading scorer at the LT Tournament over the weekend,
scoring 12 goals in a tournament-winning performance that included victories over Loyola, St Ignatius, and Stevenson.
Matt Farmer
(Fenwick)
Farmer racked up 22 goals at the DeSmet Tournament to lead the Friars to a
tournament title in Missouri over the weekend. He was a unanimous
selection for MVP at the event, in which Fenwick won five straight games,
including a 17-8 win over top-ranked SLUH on Saturday night.
Earlier in the week, Farmer scored 6 goals in a crucial 14-5 conference
win over St Ignatius.
Abbey Kerth/Emily Sejna
(Naperville Central)
Kerth scored 20 goals and Sejna added 16 scores as Naperville Central
traveled to Michigan and went 4-0 to claim the Jenison Tournament title
over the weekend. The two were also part of a defensive unit that allowed
only 8 goals in the four-game set.
Earlier in the week, Sejna scored 7 times and Kerth added 6 goals in an
18-2 win over Neuqua Valley.
Meg Dix
(Prospect)
Dix recorded 25 goals over the weekend at the St Viator Tournament,
leading the Knights to a 4-0 record at the event. Her key performance came
in the tournament's title game, as she scored 8 times in a 14-7 victory
over LWC on Saturday night. Earlier in the day, she scored 10 total goals
in wins over Lockport and Resurrection, just one day after putting in 7
goals in a 14-3 win over Prospect.
Earlier in the week, Dix scored 4 times in an 8-6 win over Hersey and
recorded 6 scores in a 15-6 win over Elk Grove.
