GIRLS
Julia Campbell
(Naperville Central)
The Redhawks' goalie helped lead the team to a perfect record this week
(4-0), which included wins over #2 H-F, #5 Mundelein, and #12 New Trier
and their own tournament title over the weekend.
Campbell totaled 37 saves in the four game stretch, which included 12
saves in a 5-4 win over Mundelein on Saturday morning and a 13-save
performance in a 9-5 title game win over H-F. She also allowed only one
goal in Naperville Central's 11-1 victory over Oak Park in the team's
second game of their own tournament.
In total, the Redhawks' stopper allowed an average of less than four goals
per game and has helped keep Naperville Central stay perfect (9-0) thus
far in 2011.
