Keep an eye out for the following players throughout the rest of the 2011 season:

BOYS

Tony Rogina (Sandburg)

The Eagles' goalkeeper held both Bradley and LWN to just two goals in a pair of midweek wins. Rogina will be a key part of a solid defensive unit for Sandburg throughout the remainder of the season.

Will Schiavone (Prospect)

Schavione scored 4 goals, including the game-winner, as Prospect edged Meadows 7-6 in overtime on Monday. His play on the offensive end will be key if the Knights are to make a run at the MSL East title in the second half of the season.

GIRLS

Becca Beeson (Lincoln-Way West)

Beeson stopped 18 shots in the Warriors' win over LWC on Friday night and helped the defense earn a fourth place finish at the LWE Tournament over the weekend.

Maria Protic (Maine East)

The Blue Demons have been aided by the emergence of freshman Maria Protic, who scored 7 times in an 11-4 win over Payton on Tuesday.
