Just one girls' tournament is on the schedule
for the weekend, but it is filled with Top 25 teams and should provide for some
closely-contested games on Saturday.
Here is a preview of the
teams participating in Lagrange:
Lyons Tournament
The Lions welcome back the same field from last year's
event, which saw them earn wins over Stevenson and Wheeling in the
preliminary round and then beat Waubonsie Valley 10-4 in the final game.
Those teams, along with Evanston and Lockport, will likely provide a tough
challenge for the hosts, who look to remain undefeated after a 5-0 start.
In last year's event, Stevenson beat Evanston in the third place game, while
Wheeling topped Lockport for fifth place.
