second place at the CSL Tournament over the weekend. The Titans earned
wins over Deer Park and Maine East before falling to New Trier 11-8 in the

Palmer totaled 12 goals and Von Moltke added 9 scores as the Trevians won
the CSL Tournament with wins over Niles West, Evanston, and GBS. Both
players scored 4 times in an 11-8 title game win over the Titans.

(Brother Rice)
Pikula recorded 15 goals to help Brother Rice finish as the runner-up in
the MCAC Tournament over the weekend. The Crusaders beat Loyola and St
Rita before falling to Fenwick in the title game.

Farmer scored 12 goals and Huening totaled 9 goals as Fenwick beat
DeLaSalle, St Ignatius, and Brother Rice to win their eighth straight
Catholic League title. Farmer also scored 9 goals in the championship game
as the Friars beat Rice 18-11.
Mark Alvarado (St Ignatius)
Alvarado scored 17 goals to finish as the leading scorer at the MCAC
Tournament over the weekend, helping Ignatius beat Loyola and St Viator to
finish in third place in the Catholic League in 2011.
GIRLS
Alexis Jones
(Mundelein)
Jones recorded 11 goals to lead the Mustangs to their own tournament title
on Saturday, as Mundelein beat BG, Latin, and Prospect.
Anna Horstkotte/Isabelle Baneaux (New Trier)
Baneaux and Horstkotte combined to score 7 goals in the Trevians' 11-6 win
over GBN in the CSL Tournament finals on Saturday. They also combined to
register 7 scores in a 12-9 victory over Naperville North earlier in the
week.
Cassidy O'Connell
(Lane)
O'Connell registered 5 goals in the CPS Tournament final to lead the
Indians to a 6-1 victory over Northside Prep.
Claire Wirtz
(Naperville Central)
Wirtz scored 4 goals to lead the Redhawks to a 12-2 win over LWC and also
added 2 more scores in wins over NV and Stevenson as Central won the
Stevenson Tournament over the weekend. She also notched 2 scores in NC's
8-2 win over Sandburg earlier in the week.
Danijela Jackovich (Lincoln-Way Central)
The Knights' sophomore scored 11 goals in Monday's 16-15 overtime win over
Sandburg. She also led the team with 13 scores over the weekend at the
Stevenson Tournament and added 6 scores in a 9-6 win over Lockport on
Wednesday.
Emily Owlowski/Sam del Prado (Fremd)
Orlowski helped hold Prospect scoreless until the closing minutes of the
MSL title game, as Fremd earned a 13-2 win over the Knights. Meanwhile,
del Prado recorded 5 goals in the championship game win over Prospect and
tallied 3 more scores as Fremd beat Waubonsie 10-3 on Monday.
Hannah Ongman/Michelle Mayer (H-F)
Ongman and Meyer combined to total 6 goals in H-F's 8-4 win over Sandburg;
the victory helped the Vikings clinch the SWSC Blue title with a perfect
13-0 conference record.
