Girls Consolation Game: Homewood-Flossmoor (27-7) vs Naperville Central (30-5)

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL - Homewood-Flossmoor and Naperville Central will both look to regroup for one last game after both suffered overtime losses in their respective semifinal games on Saturday.

The Vikings led for most of the way in their semifinal game with St Ignatius, but the Wolfpack staged a late comeback and outscored H-F 6-3 in overtime to claim a 14-11 victory. The Redhawks battled from behind the whole way in their game against Lyons and Lizzy Giuliani's goal with 1:02 left in regulation sent their contest into extra time. But Lyons scored twice and held the Redhawks scoreless until the final minute of the second overtime period to earn a 7-6 victory.

H-F advanced to the semifinals with a win over Fenwick on Friday night, while Naperville Central moved on by beating Mundelein later that night.
