Ten minutes away from the first girls' quarterfinal game of the night between Fenwick and H-F. The Vikings remain in the water warming up under the watchful eye of head coach Tim Duignan, while the Friars head over to get ready for the starting lineup announcements while donning their black robes. Schloen gets to Loeffler's attempt from the right side to keep H-F ahead by two

Ovalle draws an ejection, finds Loeffler wide open on the right post, but Schloen denies her close-range shot!

Fenwick with another chance with H-F still a player short, but an outside shot attempt goes wide right of the net

Ongman with a steal; Mathews' backhand try from 2m hits the left post

Ovalle draws another ejection...can Fenwick capitalize? Not this time, as McKernin shoots wide right

Ovalle with a steal, ahead to Carey, but Mathews makes a steal and heads the other way

Into the final minute, H-F has possession...Mayer is falling away at 5m but floats a shot into the left corner!

Mathews with a steal at 2m; Holst's chance from 9m goes over the goal as the halftime buzzer sounds

H-F is in the midst of a 4-0 run as they lead the defending champions at halftime 4-1

...and a lob shot by McKernin from 7m lands inside the net and Fenwick cuts the lead to 4-2

Mathews gets inside position at 2m and draws a penalty; she scores her seventh goal on the shot for the Vikings!

Sweeney tips a shot attempt by Adamonis to Barrett, and she finds Dunlap open for a breakaway goal to make it 9-6!
