Brendan Moore (St Ignatius)

St Ignatius started the season off with a perfect first week, winning their Catholic League opener over St Viator and then earning the Palatine Tournament title with wins over Curie, Latin, and Palatine.

Moore totaled 18 goals over the weekend, leading the Wolfpack with 5 goals in a 12-10 victory over Latin and also had an 8-goal performance in a 20-9 win over Curie.

Earlier in the week, Moore scored 8 times to help lift his squad to a 22-12 win over their Catholic League foes.

GIRLS

Erika Lauraitis (Fremd)

Fremd has already posted an impressive 5-0 record after one week of action, capped off with a big win over the weekend over Loyola.

Lauraitis started her big week by scoring 10 goals in a 16-7 win over St Viator. She followed that performance with a solid 5-goal effort in a 13-3 victory over Buffalo Grove.

Over the weekend, Lauraitis scored 5 goals to lead the Vikings to a 7-4 win over Loyola. She then scored all 8 of her teams goals in an 8-3 victory over Hersey. She finished the tournament with 4 goals in a win over R-B.
