Age Group
Clinic Begins Summer of Opportunities
By Aaron Brown
The Age Group clinic hosted by Illinois Water Polo on
June 6th at Stevenson High School is the first of many great water polo opportunities
for athletes to take advantage of this summer.
Participating athletes will be led by several high
school and collegiate coaches at the clinic, which begins at 10:00am and
concludes at noon. After the game, athletes will be able to watch some of
the best high school players in two All-Star games (boys' and girls'
games). The cost of the clinic is $35 and also includes admission to both
games immediately after the clinic.
The link below provides online registration via
Stevenson High School's web site.
Players can also register on the deck for the same
price on the date of the clinic. Contact
Jeff Wimer directly for
additional registration info.

As the school year has come to a close, the Age Group
clinic kicks of a summer of potential opportunities for water polo players
of all ages. The IWP Summer League begins play on June 14 and the rest of
the summer is filled with training, game, and tournament opportunities
through more than a dozen club and high school teams.
Stay tuned for more summer clinic, game, and tournament
information via illpolo.com, as we will be following the action and
providing updates all summer long. Also, be on the lookout for a
completely revamped Illpolo Club Center that will provide a central
location for all of the water polo action around the state this summer.
