Swiercz scored 3 times to help the Griffins edge LWC 11-10.

Allison Rocha (Lincoln-Way West)
Rocha tallied 3 goals as LWW surprised LWN 6-5 on Thursday.

Gorski (Richards)
Totaled 24 goals at the Independent Tournament to lead Richards to a 4-0
record at the event.
Biggest Impact
Boys - Alex Rembialkowski (Stevenson)
Scored the game-winning goal in the fourth quarter of a 5-4 win over
Palatine on Friday night. He also scored 3 goals in a 10-7 upset win over
Mundelein on Saturday.
Boys - Connor Brown (Fenwick)
Brown's fourth period goal with two minutes remaining helped Fenwick
defeat Naperville Central 8-7 at the Stevenson Tournament on Friday.
Boys - TJ Considine (Loyola)
Considine scored the game-winning goal in the final minute of a 12-11 win
over Curie on Monday.
Girls -
Sophia Palmer (New Trier)
Palmer scored the game-winning goal in overtime to send the Trevians to a
6-5 win over Mundelein in extra time.
Girls -
Stephanie Fernandez (St Ignatius)
Scored 5 goals, including an overtime score, as the Wolfpack beat
Stevenson 11-9 in extra time on Monday.

Johnston recorded the first shutout in team history as Prospect beat Elk
Grove 11-0.
Boys - Dan Francisco (Fenwick)
Made a key save in a shootout to help lift Fenwick past Oak Park 12-11.
Boys - David Anderson (Oak Park)
Stopped 24 shots at the Stevenson Tournament, including the first shot
during a shootout against Fenwick to give the Huskies an early-advantage
in the tournament title game.
Boys - Michael
George (Schaumburg)
Made 16 saves and stopped 2
chances from close range as the Saxons held off York 13-12 on Friday.
Girls - Emily
Tylka (Mundelein)
Recorded 12 saves in Mundelein's 8-4 win over Fremd on Monday night.

Surprises
Boys - Stevenson
The Patriots earned surprise wins over #7 Mundelein and #13 Palatine over
the weekend, making a statement that they should not be taken lightly at
next week's sectional playoffs.
Girls - New Trier
Just one week after falling to Evanston, the Trevians bounced back with
wins over #9 Mundelein and #13 Latin in Week 8.
