The
following is a summary of what took place during the seventh week of the
season. This is not a complete list and we can only include a few people
in this summary, but the purpose is to recognize a few of the best
performances from each week.
Players To Watch

- Will Davidson (Mundelein)
Totaled 11 goals in wins over
Libertyville and Vernon Hills.

- Zach Wenner (Morgan Park)
Wenner recorded 5 goals and 4 steals to lead
Morgan Park past Northside 14-6.
Girls

Emily Wooten (Naperville Central)
Wooten was the
Redhawks' leading scorer over the weekend, as she netted 8 goals in wins
over Sandburg, Evanston, and Jenison (MI).
Biggest Impact
Boys
- Charlie Shaw (Loyola)
Shaw made significant contributions during the week for
Loyola, scoring 10 goals in two wins over Glenbrook South and Latin.
Boys
- Chris Wendt (Loyola)
Wendt
scored 6 times, including two in the opening period,
in Fenwick's 17-6 win over #2
Naperville Central on Wednesday night.
Boys
- Dylan O'Connell/Tommy Poulos (Oak Park)
Combined to score 14 goals in
wins over Waubonsie Valley and Latin during Week 7, then helped the
Huskies win the GBS Tournament over the weekend.

- Morgan Bonk (Fenwick)
Recorded 4 goals in Fenwick's 10-4 win over #4 Naperville Central.

Scored 20 goals on Friday and Saturday, leading R-B to
a 4-0 record in Week 7.

Almarez led the Wolfpack with 4 goals in Saturday's 7-1
win over Lyons and added 2 goals in a win over Sandburg. She finished the week with 13 total goals and 16 steals.

Totaled 23 saves in Hersey's 10-4 win over Elk Grove.

- Stephanie Pouder (Sandburg)
Made 17 saves in the Eagles' 9-4 victory over Lincoln-Way East.

Stopped 18 shots and added 4 steals as Riverside-Brookfield knocked off Northside 11-3.

Recorded 12 saves to help Buffalo Grove hold off Meadows 10-5

Bounced back after a close loss
to Evanston with three straight wins at the GBS Tournament on Saturday.
Girls
- Resurrection
The Bandits have doubled their
win total after last year's inaugural campaign, beating both Glenbrook
North and Lane last week to move into the Top 30 in 2009.
