QUARTER 1

-----	The Fenwick boys' will look to make it two state titles in one night for the school, while Sandburg has been in top form this weekend and will be looking to pull off a huge upset. 6'40	Brian Barron feeds Borkovec on the left side and he skips a shot into the corner and it's 1-0 Fenwick!
5'30	Fenwick with a stop; Wendt finds Borkovec on the left post and he scores again and it's 2-0.
5'00	WEDNT! He fires from 5m and scores and it's a 3-0 Fenwick advantage.
4'20	Wendt with a steal on the perimeter, drives towards the goal, switches from his left hand to his right, and rifles a shot into the left side of the goal and Fenwick is rolling early!

4'00	Kamper gets Sandburg on the scoreboard with a skip shot from 5m out as the timeout proved effective.
3'45	Fenwick draws an ejection and Dan Barron scores from the top left for a 5-1 lead.
3'00	Brian Barron with it on the top left, locates Borkovec on the right post, and it's a hat trick for the senior as he slams it into the cage!
2'30	Brian Barron with another assist from the point, this time finding his brother Dan open in front of the goal...it's 7-1.
1'42	Quality save from Mann as Wendt had inside position but couldn't beat the Eagles' keeper.

-----	Fenwick is cruising at the moment, and they'll look to keep the pressure on Sandburg in the second quarter.

5'30	Napleton and Mann trade saves on each end.
4'20	Ryden tips a shot from 2m over the net.
4'00	Napleton makes a fine block on Siemeck's 5m shot.
3'15	Brian Barron passes ahead to Wendt, who strikes from 7m out, finding an opening on the left side of the goal
2'45	Fenwick draws an ejection but can't score on the advantage.
2'15	Connor Brown's pass is tipped but it falls to Ed Osmolak and he scores from 2m to make it 12-2.
1'15	Siemeck misses from 7m after a Fenwick ejection.
0'45	Kamper with a steal; Siemeck draws an ejection, but Sandburg can't score afterwards.

7'00	Things get started in the third quarter with Fenwick ahead 13-2...they win the swimoff but Mann makes an early save.
6'15	Napleton with a save on the other end for Fenwick.
5'00	The teams trade possessions without many scoring chances so far in the second half.
4'15	Jenkot scores from outside after an ejection call on Fenwick.
3'30	Siemeck tips a shot past the keeper from 2m and that's two straight goals for the Eagles.
3'22	John Osbourne draws an ejection and later scores on a rebound goal and it's 14-4 Fenwick.
3'00	Joe Ahern catches and shoots from the left side; 15-4 now.
1'30	Wendt draws an ejection; he later scores from the right post after Osborne found an opening to send the pass through from the left corner.
0'03	Osborne draws a kickout but Jenkot blocks the Fenwick chance out-of-bounds at the end of the period.

-----	One more quarter to go for Fenwick! Fair play to Sandburg, who have been working hard throughout the entire game and have had a great run to get here, beating Lincoln-Way East, McHenry, and Lyons to get to the final game.
5'35	Rigali gets the first goal of the period for Fenwick, scoring from the right post.
5'05	Brian Barron adds his second goal of the game on the next trip down for the Friars.
4'45	Mann denies Osmolak, who rifles a shot from the left side.
3'11	Mann makes another save and Sandburg calls timeout and in come the Eagles' subs. A loud cheer from the Sandburg supporters as they show their appreciation for their sides' play this season.
1'54	And it's JOHN PAVLIK who scores from 2m in his final game for the Friars!
0'51	Fenwick takes a timeout and all of the senior starters leave to a round of applause from the Fenwick supporters.
0'00	And that's it for the state championship game, as FENWICK CLAIMS THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP with a 19-4 win over Sandburg in the last game of the night.
