BOYS

Tommy Poulos (Oak Park)

Poulos helped lead the Huskies to a 3-0 record at the Lyons Tournament by scoring a total of 13 goals over the weekend.

On Friday night, he scored 4 goals in a 14-5 win over York. He totaled 3 scores in a 13-4 victory over St Ignatius on Saturday, then scored 6 times in the Huskies' 11-10 title game win over Lyons.

Earlier in the week, Poulos scored 5 goals in OPRF's 11-5 win over Young and contributed 6 scores in their 12-4 victory over York

Oak Park improved to 15-2 after their 5-0 performance in Week 6.

Pat Cavanaugh (Lockport)

Cavanaugh recorded 13 goals at the New Trier Tournament, helping the Porters finish 3-0 with wins over the host Trevians, McHenry, and Fremd.

He totaled 7 scores in a 12-10 victory over McHenry, scored 3 times in a 13-7 win over New Trier, and tallied 3 more goals in Lockport's 12-6 win over Fremd.

GIRLS

Caitlin Connor/Carolyn Chen (Hinsdale Central)

Connor totaled 11 goals and Chen made 21 total saves at the Latin Tourney on Saturday, leading the Red Devils to a 3-0 finish as they beat Latin, Hinsdale South, and Northside Prep.

Connor scored 3 goals in a 7-2 win over Northside, added 2 scores in a 7-4 victory over the host Romans, and totaled 6 scores in the Red Devils' 11-5 win over Hinsdale South.

Meanwhile, Chen allowed just 11 goals in 3 games, including a fourth quarter shutout of Latin in the team's 7-4 victory.
