The Fenwick coach earned his 700th career win earlier this
week as the Friars beat Schaumburg 24-5 and improved to 11-0 on the season.
GIRLS
Sam Marotta (Lincoln-Way
Central)
Marotta ecorded 25 saves in three games
as LWC claimed the LWE Tourney title with wins over Lincoln-Way East, Richards, and
Andrew. Earlier in the week, she also held Lincoln-Way North to just one
goal in a 19-1 victory.
Kathleen Servatius (Loyola)
Servatius totaled 25 saves and 9 steals at the Fenwick Tournament; her 4.5
goals per game average helped the Ramblers finish in fifth place with a 3-1
record over the weekend.
Katie Tynan/Morgan Bonk (Fenwick)
Both Tynan and Bonk scored 3 goals in
Fenwick's 10-2 win over St Ignatius and helped the Friars finish with a
4-0 at their own tournament. Fenwick also beat Homewood-Flossmoor, New
Trier, and Mother McAuley over the weekend and improved to 9-0 in 2009.
